This is a very pretty vintage blue and white hand embroidered and appliqued floral hankie, hanky or handkerchief made in Hong Kong in the 1950s and still bearing the original sticker, which looks a bit like a stain in the photos from the front, but is the sticker showing through from the back of the handkerchief.

The handkerchief measures 16 inches square, has scalloped hand stitched hems and a hand appliqued flower motifs in the corners. The blue appliques flowers have been embellished with embroidery and connected with embroidered foliage.

The handkerchief sticker says Made In Hong Kong 100% Cotton, and the registry number of 13962.

The hankie is in very good used vintage condition with no tears, stains or broken stitches.
